We are a company based in East London who pride ourselves in delivering a bespoke and personalised service.

We are specialists at delivering fully integrated Automation and Audio Visual solutions for both residential and commercial applications.

We install Loxone and KNX systems which are easy for our customers to use with many years of proven reliability.

Loxone are constantly improving their software and releasing new fantastic products to the market.

Almost every new product that Loxone release we thoroughly test here at UniQhome, so when it comes to installing it in your home we know exactly how to do it.

We use Loxone and KNX because of its ability to integrate with lots of other technologies; so we can integrate air conditioning units, access control hardware or Velux and Fakro blinds and window openers into the Loxone app or a wall switch/ pad.

We also love a challenge so if you have a need to automate or integrate something let us know!

With the KNX and Loxone environment we can easily integrate DMX,  DALI systems too. We have a professional ETS6 licence so we are able to handle projects whatever the size.

We can also integrate and provide seamless Audio Visual control using URC

Our technicians regularly attend training sessions to ensure that we are always completely up to date with the installation requirements of any new product release.

We are also registered electricians and certified by Napit. You can find us on the government’s competent persons scheme. This means that if you use us you can be sure that al our work is compliant with the latest requirements of BS7671. And all our notifiable work we sign off under Part P of the building regulations.

 

Our expert market knowledge means we can suggest and access the best products and services currently available – but we’ll never push unwanted extras upon you and we are not affiliated with any company so completely free to advise on what we think are the best products to suit your requirements.

A good relationship with our clients is very important to us. All our clients are very happy with our work and would be prepared (with notice) to let us show you the installations that we have carried out in their properties. We believe this says more about us than any written testimonial.

We do not just install and walk away and leave you to it, we have ongoing support packages available to ensure that your smart home is constantly up to date and working correctly.

We are able to provide a consultation service and are able to demonstrate many products and how they work in a real life setting in our Smart home (please note by prior appointment only).

Certification and accreditation

We are qualified domestic electrical installers and registered under the Government’s competent persons scheme with Napit (registered as UniQhome limited), so we are able to offer self-certification with all our installations. We have Inspection and testing, 17th Edition and Part P qualifications. We also have two million pounds public liability insurance.

How we work

First meeting

The way we approach our projects is firstly to provide a free consultation this will normally take place on site or at UniQhome as we can also demonstrate our Smart home in action, or this can be a conversation by phone or Skype.

Proposal

Based on this initial meeting, we would come up with a ball park quote for your project. This is to give you an idea on the rough cost.

Consultation and design

At this point if you are happy to proceed we would;

a) draw up contracts or

b) we could enter into a consultation process (charged at an hourly rate) we would then discuss the project in finer detail going over all the options available, this is a no obligation arrangement and you are not tied into proceeding with the installation with us.

Installation

The next step in the process is the first fix, this is when all the cable infrastructure is put into place, we are flexible and understand that you may have an certified electrician in place so the wiring plan can then be handed over to them. However, we would then need them to verify the installation to ensure that all cables are not damaged and that they are in the correct place.

The enclosure housing the equipment is built of site and then installed during the second fix when all the dust is settled. Finally all that is left to do is program the system to the Loxone standard and then the “handover” where we show you how to use the app and then all you have to do is sit back enjoy your smart home.

Programming

We will program your smart home to the Loxone standard or to an agreed specification, so that you have in place all the functionality that you require from your switch plates/buttons, remote controls and of course the app on your phone, tablet or pc.

Handover

This is where we show you how to use the equipment we have installed to make sure you are completely at ease with its operation.

We have this approach as it means the client is not tied into the whole installation with us, for instance you might want to use your own electrician and therefore use the first fix plan that we have drawn up, or perhaps use us to build the enclosure or just use our consultancy service.

Guarantee

All our installations are guaranteed for a year from the installation date (the date the Miniserver is registered).
